He was the first player in San Antonio history to have at least 12 rebounds in 15 or fewer minutes in December against Phoenix. Marjanovic, who turns 28 in August, averaged 5.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 9.4 minutes in 54 games last season for the Spurs in his first NBA season. The 7-foot-3, 290-pound Marjanovic is a three-time MVP of the Serbian Super League.
