Both the Pirates and the Heavy Bombers hope to continue their impressive performances in the preseason as they collide at 2 p.m. Mapua University looks to bounce back from its 82-91 loss to Arellano University in the opening day when it duels Colegio de San Juan de Letran at 4 p.m. Following its historic run in this year’s Premier Cup, LPU seeks to notch its first Final Four appearance in the NCAA as it leans on its prized recruit CJ Perez. JRU aims to return to the Final Four after missing the seminals cut last season with a fifth place finish on a 9-9 win-loss record.
