No work is being done on the pipeline at Wanaka Airport, on State Highway 6. Asked for an explanation for the lack of work outside the airport, a QLDC communications officer said only: "We are still working through easement agreements with the airport.'' Connecting Luggate to the council's Project Pure treatment plant is listed as a significant expenditure project. The work began in January and is due to finish in October.
