PHOTO: MARK PRICEWork on the new $2.4million wastewater pipeline between Luggate and the Project Pure treatment plant is advancing rapidly - except for one 600m length in the middle. No work is being done on the pipeline at Wanaka Airport, on State Highway 6. Asked for an explanation for the lack of work outside the airport, a QLDC communications officer said only: "We are still working through easement agreements with the airport.'' Connecting Luggate to the council's Project Pure treatment plant is listed as a significant expenditure project. The work began in January and is due to finish in October.
