Describing Christine Pauline Diciano as an empowered woman within the ranks of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) is an understatement. This reflects the president’s regard for Coast Guard diplomacy in addressing non-traditional security threats. She is a wife to a fellow Coast Guard officer, a mother who carried and gave birth to four beautiful children, a sister, and a dutiful daughter.
