Pinterest has found its next general counsel. The company on Tuesday said it has hired Christine Flores, a former executive, as its new general counsel. Flores will replace Pinterest's first general counsel, Michael Yang, who announced he was leaving the company in November to pursue work in public policy, where he began his career. Before Google, Flores was an associate at Proskauer Rose and Skadden Arps, where she advised companies on corporate matters. Yang, a former deputy general counsel at Google, served as Pinterest’s general counsel for nearly five years.
