TWO Filipino tourists were hurt while 41 others were rescued as Typhoon Mangkhut battered Hong Kong, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said on Monday. Morales said he sent another bus to the rescue and bring the group back to their hotel. Hong Kong authorities also rushed to the aid of five Filipino workers at a dive resort. All officers and staff of the Consulate General are safe and consular operations resumed on Monday, Morales said. The consulate will continue to monitor the welfare of the 227,000 Filipinos in Hong Kong.
