It happened in Trishal Upazila of Mymensingh on Tuesday morning. “The two were crossing the highway in Kajirshimla neighbourhood when a pickup van ran over them. Both died on the spot,” said Trishal OC Zakiur Rahman. The van was headed to Mymensingh from Dhaka. Locals blocked the highway in protest around 10:30am for an hour until police controlled the situation, said the OC.
