A suspected central London pickpocket was caught searching through the bag of an oblivious pedestrian near Piccadilly Circus. However they are unaware that they themselves are being followed and filmed by a camera-wielding pedestrian just yards from the busy junction in central London. The video was posted to Reddit by a user who said: 'Yesterday, I encountered pickpockets live in action near Piccadilly Circus. A suspected central London pickpocket was caught searching through the bag of an oblivious pedestrian near Piccadilly Circus on Saturday (pictured above)The oblivious man, wearing a baseball cap, is carrying the bag to one side in his left hand and does not notice. Last year London emerged as the worst pickpocketing hotspot in the country with a figure more than five times the national average.
