A 32-year-old Pickering man has been charged with three counts of mischief endangering lives after concrete cinderblocks were thrown from an overpass onto Highway 401 in three separate incidents. The first report of the falling cinderblock came at around 10 p.m. on Sunday when a vehicle was struck under the Progress Rd. overpass on Hwy. 401, Schmidt said. Images posted by Schmidt on his Twitter account shows a vehicle with a hole in the roof after concrete pierced through to the passenger side.
