The deceased was identified as Itudul Sheikh, 33, son of Shahjahan Sheikh of the upazila. Quoting locals, Goulam Mostafa, officer-in-charge (OC) of Terokhada police station, said the deceased Itudul Sheikh and his elder brother Jamil Sheikh had been at loggerheads over the ownership of a piece of land. The injured was taken to a local hospital where doctors declared him dead. “Jamil Sheikh is on the run since the murder and we are making drives to arrest him,” said the OC.
