PLYMOUTH — Pease Public Library is preparing to host an exhibit Becky Field’s colorful photographs of NH refugees and immigrants. Field’s eye captures the pride and beauty of these new residents in the colorful costumes of their home cultures. As she documents the weddings, funerals, workplaces, children at play, sacred ceremonies and joyful celebrations, she tells their stories in photography. Her companion book, which will be available for purchase, tells the dramatic stories of their journeys and celebrates the resiliency of NH’s new American. Becky Field’s photography focuses primarily on social documentary issues.
