Meanwhile, another playoff match will take place on Wednesday as Meralco and Mahindra clash for the fourth seed which comes with the quarterfinal bonus at 4:15 p.m. The said result dropped the Aces to the sixth seed, leading to a quarterfinal showdown with the third-seeded Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, who have the twice-to-beat edge.
