The rites were held at 7.30am in front of Wat Phra Sri Mahathat in Phitsanulok’s Mueang district. Taking part in the rites were Third Army Area Commander Lt-General Wichak Siribansop and senior military and police officers, as well as senior provincial officials. A total of 202,906 people in Phitanulok’s nine districts took part in the rites to offer funeral flowers to His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
