MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines will experience its longest day of the year on June 21, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said. In Pagasa’s astronomical diary, the event, known as the summer solstice, will fall on June 21 at 11:54 p.m. (Philippine Standard Time).
