MANILA, Philippines — Former rivals Premier Volleyball League, Philippine Super Liga and Philippine Volleyball Federation are sitting down to talk of possible unification. In the initial talks, Liao said they discussed issues like grassroots development, formation of the national team and burying past leadership disputes. “We’re always for unification and for the good of Philippine volleyball,” said Liao. “We were not aware of it but if its unification they’re talking, we welcome it,” said Cayco, the LVPI vice president. Liao, however, said they will hold another meeting on January 15 next year, to which the LVPI will be invited.
