NSW Coroner Michael Barnes released his findings on Friday into Hughes' death during a Sheffield Shield match at the SCG in November 2014. The Hughes family hopes that this will be part of Phillip's legacy to the game that he loved so dearly. Cricket Australia has tightened its safety procedures and how it handles blows to the head in wake of Hughes' death. However, he hoped Hughes' death would prompt a rethink of how sledging, described as an "ugly underside" of the sport, was used.
