According to a Wall Street Journal report last week, former Turing Pharmaceuticals AG's CEO, Martin "Pharma Boy" Shkreli, continues to run the company from his prison cell at Ft. Dix FCI in New Jersey. Phoenixus AG, the new name of Turing that was meant to distance itself from Turing/Shkreli, appears to have had contact with Shkreli via a prison, contraband cell phone. The big question is, "Was Shkreli that great a CEO that Phoenixus has to rely on illegal calls in from him in prison?" Conducting Business in prison is a Moderate offense, but possessing a Cell Phone is a Greatest offense ... the same level as carrying a shank! As my good friend Jack Donson (retired BOP) told me, " Guys like Shkreli get bored in prison, but they can also get into a lot of trouble.
