Before the vote, Future Forward Party spokesperson Pannika Wanich proposed that both candidates outline their vision. However, Phalang Pracharat MPs raised objections. Pro tem speaker Chai Chidchob dismissed the proposal, saying the regulations did not require candidates to do so before proceeding to call for the vote.
