Peugeot has rebranded for the first time in a decade, with its new logo a throwback to the 1960s. Peugeot has revealed its new branding ahead of the local arrival of the hybrid 3008 SUV and all-electric versions of the 2008 and the new 208 hatchback which will arrive in New Zealand later this year. The new logo drops the classic Peugeot lion in favour of putting just the head in a shield, like its old logo from the 1960s. Supplied 2021 will see plug-in versions of the 2008 and 3008 SUVs land in New Zealand, along with the launch of the new 208 hatchback. On top of the new design and fresh models, the boss of Peugeot New Zealand, Chris Brown, announced that February 2021 was the company’s strongest ever month in New Zealand with 174 units sold.
