MADURAI: In two separate incidents, unidentified men hurled a crude petrol bomb at Bharatiya Janata Party's Dindigul unit office and torched a car belonging to party's state executive committee in the early hours of Sunday.Police said unidentified people hurled a crude petrol bomb (lit bottle filled with petrol) at the BJP office located near Vazhividum Vinayaka Temple on Dindigul-Karur Road around 4am. The fire didn't cause any damage to the office.A large number of people, including BJP cadre, rushed to the spot. Police personnel were deployed in the area as the incident created tension.Earlier, unidentified people poured petrol on a car belonging to BJP state executive committee member Bose and set it on fire. "The incidents happened a few days after Hindu Munnani district executive committee member Shanker Ganesh was hacked by an unknown gang using lethal weapons. On September 16, a car belonging a Hindu Makkal Katchi member was set on fire.
