Now Petr Cech has offered a damning assessment of Wenger's final years, stating his belief that winning became secondary to playing "the Arsenal way". Cech spent three seasons at the Emirates under Wenger, following a trophy-laden stint across London with Chelsea . Wenger left the club in the summer following 22 years at the helm, with Unai Emery stepping in to replace him as manager. "In the past, I would say the 'Arsenal way' was more important than getting points sometimes and this is not how you win the league," declared the goalkeeper.
