A group of citizens from Karachi are preparing to file an appeal in the Supreme Court of Pakistan regarding the Sindh High Court’s (SHC) recent order for a retrial in the murder case of Shahzeb Khan. Their legal claim would be that those appealing have faced considerable aggravation by the order of the SHC. According to details, a review petition can be filed by either of the parties involved in the case. The last date to file a petition against the SHC’s decision to free Sharukh Jatoi and his accomplices is December 26. Sharukh Jatoi and his accomplices had been sentenced to death for the murder of Shahzeb Khan back in June 2013 and then pardoned by the victim’s family in September of the same year.
