Lady Justice Lillian Mutende on Wednesday ruled that Ms Nyamai was validly elected in last year’s General Election. The petition was filed by Kennedy Moki of Wiper Party. Ms Nyamai supporters marched in Kitui town streets celebrating the ruling. The MP’s lawyer Nyamu Mati said the costs awarded to her client were modest and small due to the seriousness of the petition but acceptable.
