Peterborough 3-2 AFC Wimbledon: Mo Eisa scores twice in home win

Peterborough bounced back from last week’s defeat to Doncaster with a 3-2 home win against AFC Wimbledon. Two goals for Mo Eisa and a great Marcus Maddison strike were enough for Posh despite substitutes Mitch Pinnock and Anthony Wordsworth twice pulling goals back for the visitors. Maddison's thunderbolt from outside the area in the 29th minute opened the scoring, then 12 minutes later Eisa skipped past two challenges down the inside right before finding the corner of the net. Eisa restored the two-goal cushion 14 minutes later, finding the corner after being slipped in by Josh Knight, only for Wordworth to halve the deficit with a fine 25-yard drive with 12 minutes remaining. Posh, though, nervously held on for the win with striker Ivan Toney also hitting the crossbar.
