Peter Machado as the Archbishop of Bengaluru. The appointment follows the resignation of Archbishop Most Rev. Machado will be the seventh Archbishop of Bengaluru. He is also the second Bishop of Belagavi to be elevated as the Bengaluru Archbishop after Fr. Machado went to school in Belagavi before joining the Papal Seminary in Pune for Philosophical and Theological studies.
