Peter Crouch has been congratulated live on BT Sport after he was voted as Tottenham ’s best striker of the past 10 years. Crouch won a Twitter vote posted by Tottenham’s official account earlier this week as the north London club asked fans for their team of the decade. The former England forward won 61 per cent of the vote, ahead of current Tottenham forward Harry Kane , who claimed 32 per cent, and Jermain Defoe. And BT Sport presenter Jake Humphrey jokingly congratulated Crouch ahead of Chelsea’s trip to Brighton today. “We should start by saying how honoured we both are to be alongside Tottenham’s greatest striker of the past decade,” Humphrey said.
