PetIQ Inc. has agreed to buy the animal health division of pharmaceutical giant Perrigo Co. for about $185 million in a move to capture more of the growing demand from pet owners for products and services that keep their furry companions healthy. The acquisition will expand PetIQ’s portfolio of over-the-counter pet products by adding PetArmor and Sergeant’s flea and tick treatments and Sentry dewormer brands, among others, from Dublin-based Perrigo.
