A driver has serious injuries after a crash in New Plymouth. A woman has serious injuries after a car crashed into the stationary van in New Plymouth. A police spokesperson said they were called to Barrett Rd at 6.20pm on Wednesday and there were reports that a person was trapped. It appeared the woman was in a car that crashed into the van, the spokesperson said. Fire and Emergency New Zealand and St John ambulance also attended, and the road was blocked for a time.
