Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash on Park Tce about 10.15am on Monday. A Fire and Emergency NZ spokesman said one person had to be extricated from their vehicle and is now being treated by St John ambulance staff. A St John spokesman said they are still at the scene and will provide an update as soon as they can.
