The condition of the rider of the electric scooter, and the person in the vehicle, remain unclear at this time. Now, a North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to an incident on Whitehill Drive in Windy Nook, Gateshead on Thursday 5 March at 15:09.
