Person seriously injured in car and motorcycle collisionNICK TRUEBRIDGE/STUFF A section of Fendalton Rd was temporarily blocked to traffic while paramedics treated one patient at the scene. One person is seriously injured after a car and motorcycle collided at a Christchurch intersection. A police spokesman said one patient was taken to Christchurch Hospital in a serious condition after the crash at the intersection of Fendalton and Straven roads about 8.30pm on Friday. Emergency services had briefly blocked the road, but both lanes were cleared and open to traffic by 9pm. NICK TRUEBRIDGE/STUFF One person was seriously hurt in the crash.
