Police were called to a crash in the Lewis Pass about 5.30pm on Sunday. A person has been seriously injured after crashing in the South Island’s Lewis Pass. Police responded to a single vehicle crash on State Highway 7 in the Lewis Pass just before 5.30pm. The crash happened about 5km from the Maruia Springs Thermal Resort, a police spokesperson said. “One person was transported to hospital in a serious condition.”
