Jacob Ratumaitavuki-Kneepkens went straight from school into the All Blacks Sevens Squad. Jacob Ratumaitavuki-Kneepkens is the fourth of five nominees for the 2018 Taranaki Daily News Person of the Year. Ratumaitavuki-Kneepkens has been playing rugby since he was four years old, first for Tukapa, then at FDMC, he says. Getting so close to achieving his dream straight out of school has earned Ratumaitavuki-Kneepkens a nomination for 2019 Taranaki Daily News Person of the Year. In mid-December he was released to come back and play in the Nationals with the Taranaki Men's Sevens team.
