One person has been killed and a second has life-threatening injuries after a crash in Papatoetoe in Auckland tonight. The crash happened on Puhinui Rd, between Wyllie Rd and Vision Place. AdvertisementA St John Ambulance spokeswoman confirmed a person had died and a second person was being taken to Middlemore Hospital in a critical condition. Several people had reported the crash, a police spokeswoman said, with several reporting the vehicle was badly damaged. Police have asked motorists to avoid Puhinui Rd between Vision Place and Wyllie Rd, as well as avoiding the Puhinui Rd motorway entry and exit.
