One person has been taken to Christchurch Hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car. A person is seriously injured after they were hit by a car outside a Christchurch mall. Emergency services were called to Main North Road about 3.40pm on Friday outside the ANZ bank near Northlands Shopping Centre, a police spokeswoman said. The person was taken to Christchurch Hospital, a St John spokesman said. They could not provide the person's age nor gender.
