On Sunday morning, the New Zealand Transport Agency said the major motorway was closed between Takanini and Hill Rd. “This occurred near the Hill Rd onramp and the person was located deceased at the scene,” a spokesman said. “Police are at the scene making inquiries into the circumstances and ultimately the matter will be referred to the coroner.”NZTA/Supplied Part of Auckland’s southern motorway is closed following the incident.
