A person died at Kiwi Lumber's Masterton sawmill Friday morning in a workplace accident. A person is dead after an incident at a Wairarapa sawmill on Friday morning. Kiwi Lumber confirmed the incident happened at its mill near Masterton on Norman Ave, Waingawa in the Carterton district. Google Maps Norman Ave, Masterton is known as an industrial area. According to Kiwi Lumber's website, the sawmill is "a structural mill focussed on producing framing timber primarily for domestic construction".
