A person has been transported to Taranaki Base Hospital in a critical condition. A 30-year-old man has been taken to hospital in a critical condition after being electrocuted at a Taranaki sports club during a funeral service. According to a death notice in the Taranaki Daily News, a funeral was taking place in the venue at the time. A St John spokesperson said they were called to reports of an electrocution and a man was taken to Taranaki Base Hospital by ambulance. The rugby club could not be contacted for comment.
