DENVER — Versatile forward Mathieu Perreault will return to the Winnipeg Jets lineup as they look to end a three-game winless skid on New Year’s Eve at the Colorado Avalanche. Perreault has missed Winnipeg’s previous six games with a concussion after getting drilled on a late, blindside hit by Philadelphia Flyers rookie Joel Farabee in a 7-3 Winnipeg win two weeks ago. Perreault will return to Winnipeg’s third line alongside Adam Lowry and Gabriel Bourque. “Hopefully, come and help the boys win a hockey game,” Perreault said. He’s won just one of his past five starts and hasn’t posted a save percentage above .900 in any of the losses.
