ALOR SETAR: Datuk Dr Mohd Asri Zainal Abidin (pix) has joined the criticisms thrown at a launderette's "Muslims only" policy in Muar, Johor. The Perlis mufti said "such narrow mindedness" would only lead to extremism and the incapability of people to live in a multi-racial society. "These narrow-minded people may think and assume that it is unclean after they (the notes) had changed hands," he said via WhatsApp. "Never easily assume and make judgements (so much so) until the "dirt" (najis) is clearly seen," he said. He was commenting on the launderette in Muar, Johor, which displayed a signboard limiting the clientele to Muslim customers only.
