PHOTO: GREGOR RICHARDSONA persistent penguin interrupted traffic not once but twice in Dunedin yesterday. A police spokeswoman said it received calls about a small penguin on Portsmouth Dr at 4.40pm. Traffic was light at the time and the penguin was put back into the water, only to get back out a few minutes later. The Department of Conservation sent someone to manage the penguin, the spokeswoman said.
