John Stones left Goodison Park with his ankle in a protective boot as Pep Guardiola criticised the match officials for their role in Manchester City's latest injury. Stones 'doesn't look good', according to Guardiola, after he went down trying to stop Everton striker Beto in City's 3-1 Premier League win, when the forward was through on goal. Frustratingly, Beto was a yard offside, with the assistant referee behind play and therefore waiting to raise his flag for the attack to come to an end. But if he's offside, he's offside. He had to make 25 yards and now he is injured and they say you're right Pep but that's the situation."
