It's not unreasonable to say that nine out of the Manchester City starting XI to face Manchester United are already set in stone. Bernardo, Foden and De Bruyne can all occupy the No.10 area, with Kovacic able to bridge the gap between defence and midfield that Chelsea exploited at the Etihad recently. Guardiola covets his control on the wing, and City play better when he is in the side. Grealish would move either Bernardo or Foden inside, with the other one of the pair operating off the right. Of the four No.10 options available to Guardiola, however, Alvarez feels like the most likely to drop out now everyone is fit.
