(Photo: People's Party)The opposition People’s Party has urged the newly-formed cabinet to act immediately to address the energy crisis and disclose fuel information to reassure the public over potential shortage, warning that the government has no time for a trial period. Party spokesman Parit Wacharasindhu said on Wednesday that once the new cabinet formally takes office and delivers its policy statement, it is expected to begin work immediately. The people expect swift action from the new administration, given the country’s long-standing challenges, including competitiveness, education and corruption, as well as the immediate energy crisis affecting people’s livelihoods, said Mr Parit. There is no time to experiment or learn on the job,” said the People’s Party spokesman.
