Penzance, along with locations in Scotland, Essex, Kent, and Ireland, feature in a list published in The Times on Sunday. It reads: “This selection of the best places to live by the coast includes lively commuter towns, coastal honeypots and spectacular scenery. The Times said: “For anyone who really, really likes the sea, it’s hard to beat Penzance. “There’s a view of the water at almost every turn, usually dominated by the fairytale fortress of St Michael’s Mount on its rocky island in Mount’s Bay, and the geothermal, art deco Jubilee Pool is a stunning spot for a swim. At that time the Sunday Times praised Penzance for its "stunning coastline", "unique architecture", and "diverse cultural offerings".
