In a way it's a bit like the Hindu celebration of Diwali, the festival of Light, or Lights. Diwali was a big deal for me when I lived in India, which I did happily for many years. Now I'm in Dublin, and today is my first experience of Pentecost. But I do want to share with you a sort-of miracle that has graced me this very day, in Dublin on this Pentecost Sunday. Among other details, Pentecost was a celebration of the crucified Christ being risen again from the dead, and reaching people in Jerusalem in various ways.
