Adolf Ernst Stadler said he was told the Fuhrer was his godfather but wasn't able to confirm it until he applied for German citizenship. Mr Stadler now claims to have found evidence while searching through Germany's national archives. He claims he was the first baby born at a camp set up by Hitler for ethnic Germans in Hohenschwangau, near the Austrian border. "My mother told me that Hitler was my godfather, which is the reason I was named Adolf."
