GEORGE TOWN: Police busted two separate drug distribution syndicates and seized RM510,820 worth of drugs during five raids here. Among the substances seized were six packs of unknown narcotic packed under the guise of traditional Chinese tea packaging. “The total value of the drugs seized is RM510,820. Comm Narenasagaran said all seven suspects were remanded under Section 117 of the Criminal Procedure Code and for police investigations under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952 for drug trafficking. “As for the second operation across two days, the suspects are remanded for seven days until May 26 and 27,” he added.
