GEORGE TOWN: The Penang Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has arrested six policemen and an individual for alleged bribery involving a sum of RM4,500. The six policemen from the George Town district narcotics division were arrested at 2am on Friday. The policemen were alleged to have received RM4,500 from the suspects through a 28-year-old individual who was also arrested by the MACC. All the seven men are being held at the Penang MACC headquarters. George Town OCPD Asst Comm Anuar Omar could not be reached for comment.
