Penang CM questions MACC over his case - Nation

GEORGE TOWN: Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng has taken the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission to task for reportedly saying that it was easier to prosecute him after the recent Federal Court ruling. The article, quoting MACC deputy chief commissioner (operations) Datuk Seri Azam Baki, was carried by the Chinese press on Friday. Meanwhile, Lim said the state government was still waiting for the RM500 cash aid for each of the flood victims from the Federal Government. For once, can they set aside politics and help the flood victims in Penang,” he said. Lim said it was unacceptable that RM235mil was disbursed to flood victims between 2013 and 2017 by the Federal Government, but Penang only received RM35,500, or 0.015% of the amount.
